Low warmup stats in the first few days are completely normal - do not panic. The warmup network takes time to engage with your account, and email providers need at least a week of consistent activity before they start assigning a meaningful sender reputation.
What Low Stats Look Like (Normal)
Days 1-3: Very few warmup emails sent, open/reply rates may appear at 0%
Days 4-7: Volume picks up, engagement starts to register
Week 2+: Stats should be improving consistently
When to Investigate
If your warmup stats are still very low or flat after two full weeks, something may be blocking proper warmup. Here is what to check:
1. DNS Records
Missing or misconfigured DNS records are the most common cause of poor warmup performance. Verify all four are correctly set up for your domain:
SPF - tells email providers which servers are allowed to send from your domain
DKIM - a digital signature that proves emails from your domain are authentic
DMARC - sets the policy for how to handle emails that fail SPF or DKIM
MX records - ensure your domain can receive email (needed for warmup replies)
You can check all four at once using the Prospi DNS checker.
2. Blacklist Check
If your domain or IP was previously used for spam (even by a prior owner), it may be on an email blacklist. Check your domain using the Prospi blacklist checker. If you are listed, contact support - we can advise on the best path forward.
Still Low After 3 Weeks?
If DNS is clean, you are not blacklisted, and stats are still not improving after 3 weeks - reach out to support. There may be a provider-specific issue with your domain or account that we can investigate directly.
