Prospi’s AI Enrichment helps you personalize outreach by automatically filling in missing details such as target audience, company service, and mission. It also includes Custom AI Research, which allows you to pull unique insights based on your own prompts.

This guide explains how predefined and custom AI enrichment work, how to run them, and how to filter out bad results.


Step 1: Why AI Enrichment Matters

Before sending emails, your leads need complete, high-quality data to improve personalization and engagement. Instead of manually researching each company, Prospi’s AI instantly fills in key details to make your outreach more relevant.

Step 2: What Data Does AI Enrichment Add?

Prospi offers two types of AI Enrichment:

1️⃣ Predefined AI Enrichment (Automatic Insights)

When you run predefined AI Enrichment, Prospi automatically adds:

🔹 Target Audience → Who the company serves (e.g., "E-commerce brands," "B2B SaaS startups").
🔹 Company Service → What the company does (e.g., "Shopify growth agency," "AI-powered sales platform").
🔹 Company Mission → A short insight into the company’s mission or focus.
🔹 Title Normalization → Standardizes job titles (e.g., "Founder & CEO" instead of "Co-Founder/CEO").
🔹 Company Name Normalization → Ensures correct spelling and formatting.

2️⃣ Custom AI Research (Your Own Custom Prompts)

Prospi’s Custom AI Research lets you extract unique, company-specific insights by creating custom prompts and selecting the source data column (e.g., website, company description).

📌 Examples of Custom AI Prompts:
✔️ Find 1 case study from this company and extract the client name.
✔️ Write a compliment based on this company's website

🔹 Source Column: Choose where AI pulls data from (e.g., company website, description, industry, etc).
🔹 Custom Prompt: Type a question or command for AI to generate a unique answer.
🔹 AI Research Output: AI extracts the requested data and adds it as a new column in your lead list.

📌 Why Use Custom AI Research?

  • Extract hyper-specific details to personalize outreach.

  • Test prompts on a few leads before applying at scale.

  • Automate manual research and get insights instantly.


Step 3: How to Run AI Enrichment in Prospi

Once you’ve saved leads to a list, follow these steps:

Option 1: Run Predefined AI Enrichment

1️⃣ Go to Lead Lists and select the list you want to enrich.
2️⃣ On the sidebar, choose Predefined AI Enrichment.
3️⃣ Click "Run AI Enrichment" and wait for Prospi to process the leads.

Option 2: Run Custom AI Research

1️⃣ Go to Lead Lists and select your list.
2️⃣ Click "Custom AI Research."
3️⃣ Choose a source column (e.g., website, company description).
4️⃣ Enter your custom prompt (e.g., "Find 1 case study from this company.").
5️⃣ Select a few leads for a test run, or leave all unchecked to apply AI to the entire list.
6️⃣ Click "Run AI Research."

📌 Tip: Always test your prompt on a few leads before applying at scale to ensure the output is accurate.


Step 4: Filter & Remove Leads That Couldn’t Be Enriched

After AI Enrichment is complete, review your results and clean up your list.

📌 How to filter out bad AI results:
1️⃣ Open your lead list.
2️⃣ Filter leads by "Target Audience" or "Company Mission."
3️⃣ Select leads with "Not Found" or incorrect values.
4️⃣ Click "Delete"

📌 Why remove unenriched leads?

  • Without key insights, personalization will be weaker.

  • You’ll waste credits verifying emails for leads that might not be relevant.
