How Credits Work in Prospi
Prospi uses a simple credit-based system. Understanding how credits work will help you get the most value from your plan.
What Uses Credits
Email double verification - Credits are consumed when Prospi double-verifies email addresses found in your lead searches. This ensures you only reach out to valid, deliverable contacts.
What Does NOT Use Credits
Lead finding - Searching for leads in Prospi's database is completely free.
Campaign sending - Sending emails through your campaigns does not consume credits.
Follow-ups - All follow-up emails in your sequences are free.
In short: credits only come into play when we verify the emails of leads you find. Everything else is included in your plan.
Your Billing Cycle
Your billing cycle starts on the day you subscribe to a paid plan and renews on the same date each month (or year, for annual plans).
When Credits Reset
Your credit allocation resets at the beginning of each billing cycle. When your new cycle starts, you receive your full plan's credit amount regardless of how many credits you had remaining.
Checking Your Credit Balance
You can view your current credit balance at the bottom left of the screen or in navigate to Settings → Billing to see:

Plans & Credit Amounts
Prospi offers Growth tier plans with varying credit amounts to match your outreach volume. Each tier includes a set number of monthly credits for email verification. Compare plans in your billing settings to find the right fit.
Topping Up Credits
Running low on credits before your cycle resets? You can purchase additional credits at any time.
Top-up cost: The price per credit matches your current plan’s rate - the same cost per credit included in your subscription. Higher-tier plans have a lower per-credit rate, so top-ups become cheaper as you move up.
Top-up credits are added to your balance immediately. To purchase a top-up, go to Settings → Billing and click Buy More Credits.
Upgrading & Downgrading Your Plan
Upgrading
When you upgrade to a higher-tier plan:
The change takes effect immediately
You are charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle
Your credit balance is adjusted to reflect the new plan's allocation
Downgrading
When you downgrade to a lower-tier plan:
You continue on your current plan for the rest of the billing cycle
The new, lower rate takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle
You keep full access to your current credit balance until the cycle ends
Invoices & Payment
Prospi uses Stripe for secure payment processing. All invoices are available in Settings → Billing.
Updating Your Payment Method
To update your payment method, go to Settings → Billing and click on your payment method to edit it.
