Step 1: Open the Email Accounts Page
1️⃣ Log in to your Prospi dashboard.
2️⃣ Click on "Email Accounts" in the main menu.
3️⃣ Click "Add Email Account."
4️⃣ Select either Google Workspace or Microsoft Outlook as your provider.
📌 Important: You will now see a list of setup steps inside Prospi. You must complete these before continuing.
Step 2: Complete Required Setup Steps
For Google Workspace Accounts
📌 First, let's enable IMAP access for your Gmail account.
1️⃣ Open Gmail on your computer.
2️⃣ Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select "All Settings."
3️⃣ Go to the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" tab.
4️⃣ In the "IMAP access" section, select Enable IMAP.
5️⃣ Click "Save Changes."
📌 Next, allow Prospi to access your Google Workspace.
1️⃣ Go to your Google Workspace Admin Panel.
2️⃣ Click "Add App."
3️⃣ Select "OAuth App Name or Client ID."
4️⃣ Use this Client ID to search:
628268701480-9tfj6beolh39pp55410edmbll38ler15.apps.googleusercontent.com
5️⃣ Select and approve Prospi to access your Google Workspace.
📌 Once both steps are done, return to Prospi and continue.
For Microsoft Outlook Accounts
📌 First, let's enable IMAP access for your Microsoft account.
For Microsoft accounts purchased directly from Microsoft:
1️⃣ Log in to your Microsoft Admin Center.
2️⃣ Click "Active Users."
3️⃣ In the side window, go to the "Mail" tab and click "Manage email apps."
4️⃣ Check the box for "Authenticated SMTP" and make sure IMAP is enabled.
5️⃣ Click "Save Changes."
6️⃣ Wait for one hour before attempting to connect your account to Prospi.
📌 Once this is completed, return to Prospi and continue.
Step 3: Confirm You Have Authorized Prospi
1️⃣ After completing the required setup steps, return to Prospi → Email Accounts.
2️⃣ Click the "Yes, I have authorized Prospi" button.
3️⃣ Now, proceed to Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft to authenticate your inbox.
📌 If you don’t complete the setup steps first, authentication will fail.
Step 4: Verify Your Inbox is Connected
After signing in, go to the Email Accounts page in Prospi to check if everything is set up correctly.
✅ Your inbox will appear in the list of connected email accounts.
✅ If everything is configured properly, you will see a green checkmark in the "Authorized" column.
📌 If the green checkmark doesn’t appear:
Double-check that you completed all setup steps in Step 2.
Try removing and re-adding the account in Prospi.
