Languages Filter

The Languages filter lets you find leads based on the languages they speak. Use it when running multilingual campaigns, targeting non-English markets, or when language proficiency is relevant to your offer.

How It Works

Select one or more languages and Prospi will return people who have listed those languages on their profile. Language data reflects what people self-report as languages they speak or work in professionally.

How to Use It

  1. Open Lead Finder and go to the Person filters section

  2. Click on Languages

  3. Select the language or languages you want to target

When to Use the Languages Filter

  • Non-English campaigns: If you are sending emails in Spanish, French, German, or another language, filtering by that language ensures you are reaching people who will understand and respond to your copy

  • Market-specific targeting: For campaigns focused on a specific country or region, combining Languages with Location gives you higher confidence that you are reaching the right audience

  • Multilingual offers: If your product or service is available in specific languages, targeting speakers of those languages improves relevance

Tips

  • Language data is self-reported and may not be complete for all leads - use it as a refinement filter rather than a primary filter

  • For strong country or region targeting, the Location filter is usually more reliable. Use Languages as a secondary filter to improve match quality

  • When running campaigns in a non-English language, pair the Languages filter with a native-language copywriter or translated email sequences for best results

Pro tip: If you are targeting a specific country but want to make sure you are reaching native speakers (not just expats or international employees), combining the Company Location filter with the Languages filter gives you the most targeted results.
