The Founded Year filter targets companies based on when they were established. Enter a minimum year and Prospi will return all companies founded from that year onwards.
How to Use It
Open Lead Finder and go to the Company filters section
Click on Founded Year
Enter a year in the Founded year (min) field (e.g. 2015)
Results will include all companies founded in that year or later
When to Use It
Target newer companies: Enter 2018 or 2020 to focus on startups and scale-ups that are still in growth mode and more open to new tools and vendors
Exclude very early-stage: If you want established companies only, combine with Company Size to filter out one-person startups founded recently
Filter out legacy companies: Older companies tend to have longer procurement cycles and more entrenched vendor relationships - a recent founding year helps you focus on more agile buyers
Tips
Founded year alone is not a strong standalone filter - combine it with Company Size and Industry for a more meaningful segment
A company founded in 2015 with 500 employees is very different from one founded in 2015 with 10 - use size alongside year to get the full picture
