Hiring & Team Size Filter

The Hiring & Team Size filter lets you target companies based on the size of specific departments and the number of open job postings per function. It gives you two distinct lenses into a company’s structure and growth direction.

Filter Sections

Team Size (min)

Set a minimum number of employees in a specific department. Enter a number in the field for any department you want to filter by:

  • Engineers

  • Sales

  • Marketing

  • DevOps

  • IT

  • QA

  • CS (Customer Success)

  • BizDev

  • Ops

  • Security

For example, entering 5 in the Sales field will return only companies with at least 5 people in their sales team.

Open Roles (min)

Set a minimum number of currently open job postings in a specific department. Available departments include Sales, Marketing, DevOps, Engineers, and more.

For example, entering 2 in the Sales field will return companies that currently have at least 2 open sales positions.

How to Use It

  1. Open Lead Finder and go to the Growth & Signals section

  2. Click on Hiring & Team Size

  3. Enter a minimum value in whichever department fields match your criteria

  4. Use Team Size, Open Roles, or both together

When to Use It

  • Sales tools: Min sales team size of 5+ to find companies with a real sales org that could benefit from your product

  • Recruiting and HR tech: Min open roles in any department to find companies actively hiring

  • Developer tools: Min engineers of 10+ to find companies with a substantial engineering team

  • Marketing services: Min marketing team size of 3+ to find companies with a dedicated marketing function

  • Trigger-based outreach: A company hiring for Sales roles is actively building revenue capacity - time your pitch accordingly

Tips

  • You do not need to fill in all fields - leave departments blank to ignore them

  • Combine Team Size with Open Roles to find companies that are both large enough to have budget and actively growing

  • Department headcount is estimated from LinkedIn data and may not reflect exact internal org structure
