Tech Stack Filter

The Tech Stack filter targets companies based on the specific software they use. Each category has a dropdown where you can select one or more tools - Prospi then returns only companies that have that technology in their stack.

Tech Stack Categories

The filter is organized by software category. You can filter by any combination of these:

  • CRM - Customer relationship management tools (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive)

  • Marketing Automation - Email marketing and automation platforms (e.g. Marketo, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo)

  • Sales Automation - Sales engagement and sequencing tools (e.g. Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo)

  • Analytics - Web and product analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude)

  • CMS - Content management systems (e.g. WordPress, Webflow, Contentful)

  • Cloud Provider - Cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

  • Development / DB - Development frameworks and databases (e.g. React, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

  • E-Commerce - Online store platforms (e.g. Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento)

  • ERP - Enterprise resource planning systems (e.g. SAP, NetSuite, Oracle)

  • Email Hosting - Email infrastructure providers (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft 365)

  • Email Security - Email security and filtering solutions (e.g. Proofpoint, Mimecast)

  • App Security - Application security tools (e.g. Okta, Auth0, Snyk)

  • Cloud Security - Cloud security and compliance platforms (e.g. Wiz, Lacework, Prisma Cloud)

  • ABM - Account-based marketing platforms (e.g. Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus)

  • Conversation Intelligence - Call recording and sales intelligence tools (e.g. Gong, Chorus, Otter)

How to Use It

  1. Open Lead Finder and go to the Growth & Signals section

  2. Click on Tech Stack

  3. Open the dropdown for the relevant category and select a specific tool

  4. Add filters from multiple categories to narrow further

When to Use It

  • Integration plays: Target companies already using a platform your product integrates with (e.g. HubSpot users if you sell a HubSpot add-on)

  • Competitive displacement: Find companies using a competitor and pitch the switch

  • Budget signals: Salesforce or Marketo users have demonstrated willingness to invest in sales and marketing tools

  • E-commerce targeting: Filter by Shopify or WooCommerce to find online stores

  • Security-conscious companies: Companies using Email Security + App Security tools prioritize protection and have budget for it

Tips

  • Tech stack data is detected from public signals (website code, job postings, etc.) - some tools leave no detectable footprint and may not appear

  • Reference the tool in your email copy: "Since you’re on HubSpot..." immediately makes your message more relevant

  • You do not need to fill in all categories - leave any category blank to ignore it
