The Company Name filter lets you target specific companies by name. Use it to build account-based lists, include named target accounts, or exclude specific companies from your results.
How to Use It
Open Lead Finder and go to the Company filters section
Click on Company Name
Type the company name and select it from the dropdown
Add multiple companies to target all of them
Match Mode
After entering a company name, you can choose how the filter matches results using the Match mode dropdown:
Contains - Returns all companies whose name includes the word you entered. For example, searching "Amazon" with Contains will return Amazon, Amazon Web Services, Amazon Logistics, and any other company with "Amazon" in the name.
Exact match - Returns only companies whose name matches exactly what you entered. Searching "Amazon" with Exact match will return only "Amazon", not subsidiaries or companies with similar names.
Use Contains when you want to capture a brand and all its subsidiaries or related entities. Use Exact match when you need to target one specific company and nothing else.
When to Use It
Account-based outreach: You have a target account list and want to find decision-makers at specific companies
Expansion: Target a known company to find multiple contacts within it
Pro tip: If you are not seeing the expected results, try switching between Contains and Exact match - the company may be stored under a slightly different name in the database (e.g. "Meta" vs "Meta Platforms Inc").
